Sewing & Design Class 03/07

Ready to build on your sewing foundation? Sewing & Design  is a hands-on, one-day intensive designed for students with prior sewing experience who want to refine their skills and take on more advanced techniques.

In this 3-hour class, students will work through the construction of a small, guided project, focusing on accuracy, structure, and clean finishing. The class emphasizes improved machine control, precise cutting, seam finishes, and pattern interpretation while reinforcing proper construction order and workflow.

Students will deepen their understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and design execution while learning techniques that elevate both fit and finish. Instruction is led by experienced designers in a professional studio environment, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, efficiency, and creative problem-solving.

This class is ideal for those who have completed Sewing 101 or have equivalent experience and are ready to move beyond the basics.

By the end of the session, students will leave with a completed project, sharpened technical skills, and greater confidence to continue developing their sewing practice.

Level 2 sewing experience required.

Sewing machines and materials will be provided.
